Upward Sports is a place where kids can learn the fundamentals of their sport while engaging in a positive atmosphere focused on personal and spiritual growth. Families can find community and excitement around the court, on the field, and in the huddle.
Summit Church's Upward Soccer league is 4 vs. 4 (5yrs - 2nd grade) and 7 vs. 7 (3rd - 6th grade) soccer. We play on smaller fields and with fewer players than most leagues, because this gives each player more opportunities with the ball and teaches them the necessary skills in a much better way.
Upward Soccer is easy, requiring only 1 practice & 1 game per week. In return your child gains age appropriate character and skill development for life on and off the field. Building competitive athletic skills, confidence, and spirit to strengthen your young athlete mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially.
CFUMC Upward Spring Soccer is a terrific way to get your younger children involved with sports. Our ages are 3 years old (by Feb. 1, of the current year) through 7th grade (co-ed). Registration for soccer begins on January 5 and the deadline for registration is mid-Feb.
It's more than just a game. Central Sports is about kids having fun learning new sports, plus so much more! We strive for all our sports to be fun! Statistics show 75% of kids who quit sports by the age of 14 do so because it is no longer fun. From practices to games to devotionals, we want Central sports to be a fun experience for all players.
Upward Sports teaches sport fundamentals in an environment of healthy competition, helping kids to develop skills for the sports arena and Christian values for life. The Rochester Upward Sports soccer league will be for kids in Kindergarten through fifth grade (Fall 2021).
